We all know what it stands for: Bad. Ass. Mother. Fucker.

Every teenage kid would like to believe they are a BAMF. But I’m here to tell you that you aren’t a BAMF. Most of you who think you’re BAMF’s probably drink, smoke, do drugs, and have sex, I’m sure. But yet again, you’re probably all middle schoolers or highs schoolers, you aren’t even legally allowed to drink. So if you get arrested and spend a year in jail, or get expelled, do you still keep your “BAMF” status? I doubt that. Infact, you’re probably the only one who thinks you’re a BAMF from the get-go. Others probably think you’re retarded. the truth is, all you “BAMF’s” out there are just making fools of yourself. Hey, I mean look at the “BAMF’s” on Sixteen and Pregnant? How about the ones on Cops? Lets try a more well known one, Jersey Shore?

I mean c’mon guys, lets put down the beer, keep away from the opposite sex’s prince/princess parts, and stop doing that stupid guido fist pump. This BAMF shit is getting old.

What time is it?

That’s right, this post is dedicated to the new show on Cartoon Network called Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. Adventure Time is about two best friends, Finn, a twelve-year old boy and Jake, a magical dog who expericance surreal adventures in the Land of Ooo.

The characters include:

Finn– a human boy who aspires to become a legendary hero someday. Finn also has a crush on Princess Bubblegum.

Jake– Finns smart, shape-shifting dog who inexplicably obtained magical powers.

Princess Bubblegum– the ruler of the Candy Kingdom, who is a hybrid of bubblegum and human DNA.

Lady Rainicorn– Princess Bubblegum’s unicorn like pet, who only speaks gibberish, and is also Jake’s girlfriend.

Ice King– the old, lonely ruler of the Ice Kingdom, who is constantly capturing princesses hoping they will become his bride.

Marceline the Vampire Queen– the queen of all vampires who holds a friendly rivalry with Princess Bubblegum.

Lumpy Space Princess– The cloud-like princess who rules the Lumpy Space Dimension.

Ricardo– the heart guy. Not much will be known about him until later episodes.

There are twenty-nine episodes and two seasons in this series. There has only been one episode aired, the second episode is to be aired during the summer of 2010.

I give this television show ten thumbs up.

Experimental Topic: “Age Is Only A Number.”

Welll, for my first expirmental topic, I choose you: “Age is only a number”!

Now I believe the majority of you reading this have heard the familar saying “Age is only a number.” and if you get technical, this isn’t completely true. Nor do I believe in this saying, period. Age is not only a number, but a limiting factor, which determines your maturity and effects most of what you do. Now, this is where this quote comes in, and where it disturbs me the most, relationships.

Now honestly, is age really not a contributing factor in a good or bad relationship? People really, think about this. Is a sixteen-year-old really going to have a worthwhile relationship with a twenty-five-year-old? No.

It’s as simple as that. You’re stupid if you think dating more than four years ahead or behind you is a good idea. For example, I have a friend whom I was previously close with who is sixteen years of age, and a freshman in high school, and is dating a twenty-two year old. I find that discusting, I dont know about all of you, but I shake my head at this. Is it that hard to date in your age range? I mean, you’re bound to have more in common with people your age, so why date a person who is ahead of your time? It doesn’t make sense in my book. Age matters, infact, age matters alot. Yet our youth today cannot seem to grasp this concept. It makes it that much harder on a relationship if you are four years (or more) apart. Another example I know of is a senior girl who was dating an eighth grade boy, I find this even more discusting than the last example, I’m not one for dating younger than me either, so I suppose my opinion on this example is extremely biased, but what could a middleschooler and an eighteen year old possibly have in common? I mean they aren’t even taking the same classes, so what is there to talk about? Television? Not hardly.

Lesson Learned: Consider your age before you begin dating. It makes it hard for those around you to respect your relationship if you’re just finishing the eighth grade and your boyfriend has a child and is in college.

Hello all.

My name is irrelevant, so refer to me as “heysmai”, and this is my first post, I think. So I’m not quite sure what to do with it, so its time to wing it. This website seems quite complicated, but so does every website when you first begin to use it, infact, I recall when I thought myspace was complicated. Anywho, I would appriciate it if you:

  1. assist me with anything I need help with.
  2. don’t judge me until I get the hang of wordpress.
  3. read and comment my posts.

kay thanks. 🙂  Maybe we’ll become great blogging friends, maybe not, either way, I’m going to do my own thing, and you can do yours.
